Since it's ACL weekend here in Austin, I thought I would share some songs that I have found comforting. I feel like she is there telling me it's okay every time one of these songs comes on the radio. It seems to happen when I'm thinking about her...but then again she is constantly on my mind.
I love that song too since I heard about it from your uncle, before that I did not even know this artist,,,Always makes me cry, but crying it OK! Whenever I hear "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire,,,,I know she's saying hi and giving me a hug,,,it always comes on at the most interesting times too,,through my slacker player (computer) at work, on the jukebox, in the car,,,always perfectly timed,,I love that! I know she would want us to be happy, but I don't seem to be able to feel that just yet,,,,Male or female doesn't matter, she was my "soul" mate bestfriend and there is such a hole in what's left of my "soul", I fear I will never be whole again, at least not while I am on this earth....I love your site, the information is very helpful, even to me, the all-time PRO at dealing with death !! :)
